- Annual cost today = hourly rate × hours per bug × bugs per quarter × 4. We assume your team currently absorbs the full cost of every grain bug that reaches production.
- Annual cost with BiMA·gov = annual cost today × (1 − prevention rate). 80% prevention rate is a working assumption based on BiMA·gov's clarify-gate catching grain ambiguity before DAX is drafted. Residual 20% covers reviewer error and non-grain bug classes the gate does not model. We will update this as design-partner data accumulates.
